I painted these three painting on the same piece of paper in quick succession, focusing on varying the atmosphere.

This is what I carry with me all the time. A fountain pen, a Japanese brush pen, a small A5 Sketchbook and a little metal box with extra cartridge.
I can draw everywhere, sometimes in the car, sometimes in a cafe or while watching a film or series on TV etc… I don’t use a pencil sketch to underneath, so sometimes the drawings are slightly off.

The pencil corrections of the horse legs on this page were done by none other than Hermann Huppen!
I had the luck of spending an evening with him, in a restaurant in Leeds in the U.K.
For those of you who don’t know Hermann’s awesome comics, he has been one my personal favourite artist growing up.
